It was on the league website yesterday afternoon that it was off due to snow. Very convenient though...

Sorry to have to reply on his behalf, but the main man's too busy doing a photo call down at the Summerhill Stadium Of Light, which at the moment resembles something off "Ski Sunday"!

Absolute joke, our secretary who maintains the field and wouldnt letit be played on if it was bad okayed the field this morning, but got a local living referee to take a look. He said it was fine, league ref turns up. Asks to see the field straight away, sees a boggy patch and calls it off as a potential leg breaker, takes his money and does one. What a 
Overthorpe were well chuffed, they only had 9 men.

Had to think of something to get us in local press this week Big Man... 
Two home games so far Cuckoo - but as Big Man says playing away this season doesnt seem to bother us..this time last year we hadn't taken a single point away from home, so a bit of an improvement you could say.
Pitch was still covered in snow this am and ground underneath was solid. Hopefully we can get it played next week.

Will be very surprised if Overthorpe last the season. Only 9 men,for a prem game.Unbelievable !!!

Me too, I've noticed Thornhill (Overthorpes next door neighbours) in the Wakefield league have started doing exceptionaly well.
