First DivisionFirst Division is now starting to take shape, the top 4 seem to be battling out for the top 2 spots,
who u think will do it!?
Tyersal only lost one game...but have catching up to do, and a heavy fixture congestion can influence performances at the business end of the season.
Salts have the pole position, and good points in the bag, however they have got tyersal and steeton to play twice yet.
Albion...they have beaten tyersal and steeton away from home, and let a 2 goal lead slip against salts go....they have to be favourites as long as they dont slip up against any of the lesser sides that they have still to play.
Steeton, they started like a house on fire, but the cracks are starting to appear, can they get back on track or will they fall away!?
im going for Albion from Tyersal in the league. Then Salts & Steeton.

The 1st Division race is not worth writing about...no league will be as close as the one that us and burton battled out last season, personally hope that Steeton go up then couldnt give a fuck bout the other as long as it aint salts as their pitch and facilities are W@NK!

Despite CK's comments, although complimetary about Steeton, just because Marsden are no longer the focus of attention having achieved promotion last year with Kirkburton and the rivalry that developed, as Superalbion states the race is starting to develop in the division and is of interest to some of us. So don't forget where you came up from CK!
A big game this weekend between Steeton and Tyersal, for two teams who simply must onto the coat-tails of Albion and Salts, who've both established themselves as pacesetters now. A long way to go, but Saturday's encounter is a biggy for both sides!

Long way to go for all the sides up there, but it looks like 2 from the 4 mentioned sides.
Best team that we have faced so far was Albion, that said if we had taken our chances in the first half then it would have been a different story.
With the number of young players we have in our squad we have probably exceeded expectations so far this season.
For the league to have the top four sides only having lost one game each this season is very unusual - the promotion slots will depend on how the four teams perform against each other and of course fixture congestion at the end of the season.

I hope you go up Jose, it would be good to see your little permatanned child like legs scurrying up and down the touchline!

A Few Points:
1) I think you meant "what are YOU on"
2) nobhead is spelt - Knobhead
3) Salts' pitch is wank, Its on a slope for a start, covered in Molehills and always boggy as fuck! The changing rooms are even more delapedated than Fall Lane! There is never any food on after the game coz you are all cunts! Just because you have a ricketty old stand doesn't mean that you have a good ground!

Not much too choose between Steeton and Tyesrsal today - Steeton won 3-2.
Steeton had early pressure but failed to convert chances, Tyersal then went 1-0 on the break before Steeton levelled within a minute. Tyersal regained lead on stroke of HT when the punished Steeton for poor defending - Steeton battled hard in second half and were rewarded when the levelled after 15 mins, both sides had chances before Steeton grabbed a late winner - however Tyersal rattled the bar late on as they pushed for a leveller.
Good advert for the first division and two committed sides on show - Tyersal meet Albion next week whilst Steeton travel to local rivals Shammies. On paper Salts look to have the best fixtures in March and could extend their lead as the next three all play each other.

Looks as though Salts are the ones to catch and are looking strong....not surprising really they have been our bogey side for the last couple of seasons. ..Have they any new players or have they just pulled together?

You're right Rocky, Salts are the team to catch, as they've quietly been tucking away maximum points against the so called lesser teams, whilst the others in the top 4 have been takling points off one another, or indeed dropping silly points to the teams below them. But Salts have got all the sides in the top 4 to play yet (except themselves of course!),some twice, so it'll be interesting to see how this pans out. Still a 4 horse race in my view and one that could go right down to the wire.

I've heard that they have got some players from Eccleshill United. Although based on the season they've had, thats not saying much is it !!!

Craig 123 is chief operator of the local donkey ride service and he is deeply stressing that a return to Dick Lane will result in the locals twokking his donkeys
