Bay give Hemsworth a thumping as Marsden and Lower Hopton draw. Overthorpe embarrass themselves again as Storthes are the high scorers of the week and Melthams slow start to the campaign continues with just a point at Wibsey.

Hunsworth & Littletown have a high score draw as Yeadon follow on from last weeks draw at Albion to condem Steeton to their first defeat of the season. Wakey City beat South Bradford as the Holmewood lads go twokking in search of food.

There first team is the same team we played last year, and yeah they have a decent side and finished 4th i think? but what have they ever won......... thats right fook all, the lads that play in nec league are no better than our top teams, there just far to much travelling involved. Q for frankie would shane kelly nec player get in bays starting 11???

Just a couple of points Botty Boy, Sorry Bronte Boy, Cuckoo1 is no longer he died about 2 months ago! Its Cuckoo King now! I would happily sub for the 1st team no questions asked, I would even turn out for the 2nd or 3rd team at Marsden as I did every week last year! I just love my football and want to play every week, Just ask admin, I played with 1 working leg in goals against him!
I'm not trying to upset the apple cart but I am sure that the players wouldn't give a shit about me coming in at the end of the day I am still a Cuckoo and have proved my loyalty over the last 3 years when I could have left a couple of times but rode out the bad times to become an integral part of the promotion winning side!

All that as a reply to a genuine question!!! I'm sure you would play for any team cos you love it. My question was to the manager about whether this was accepted by his players. I have done it too and have always thought "if the manager picks me I'll play - not down to me" so it wasn't a pop at you.
I've already explained the situation (at long and boring length) about last season and although we did break the rules I think calling it cheating is a bit harsh. I suppose you can class that as a bite if you want.

i for one bronte boy wouldnt be upset as we are a very tight unit of mates, theres no click before anyone says ought!
anyone who comes to marsden is treated like the rest and im sure most of the lads wouldnt mind him joining the TEAM.

I think NEC manager wants two or three fringe players or players coming back from injury to get some playing time tomorrow but seeing as we played Meltham with 6 seventeen year olds and 1sixteen year old with 2 sixteen year olds on the bench + 2 pensioners at the back, this week was always going to be a stronger outfit.
