Close game and we were winning with 14 mins to go. Bay scored a good equalizer with a well taken header from a corner however the talking point came in the very last minute when a certain Mr Skeldon (Ref) allowed one of the most blatant offside goals ever seen. Not one but 2 certain offsides in one attack. even bay players and coaches were apologising for the goal they scored! all i can think of is that Mrs Skeldon must have had the tea on!. .
Bay should now go on and win the cup.

Rocky you forgot to mention that the Bay coach asked the Ref how long to go when they got that 'goal' to which the cunt replied 4 or 5, yet blew up for ful time almost straight from the centre!!!!!!
I wasn't aware that refs now spoke about time in seconds! Cant imagine howard webb signalling 180 seconds for 3 minutes injury time to the 4th official!

was waiting for the cuckoos to have their say before i had mine. the ref was poor, after being splattered by dean siddiq after about 30 sec(have a swollen knee and bruised shin) the refs response to not even awarding a free kick was "it was a 50-50 that was a bit late" IDIOT! Fair play to the marsden boys for not scoring but playing the ball out. the game its self was dominated by us albeit without creating anything clear cut. That said ash made a couple of top draw stops and some die hard defending made it tense for us. their goal was a good finish from siddiq and our equaliser was even better from tom brown. then came the comedy brighton breaks through about 40yds out (from my pos dont know if he was off) but when he knocked it across for adam bell i was waiting for the ref to blow, belly walks it in and im still waiting, and astonishingly he awards the goal and then blows up for full time as soon as they kick off. although we won it was a tad embarassing walking off. Granted the refereeing situation is dyer but clowns like him should not be sent to ref adults. Highlight of the day for me was us having hot showers and the home team not. fair play to shane who came and showered with us!
P.s shane did u get a lift? didnt see your pm till sat night. presume you did as you didnt ask in the club.

The ref was very consistant in being shit but at least he was shit for both teams!

Wont bother going on about the ref except everything thats been said about him was true.Thought for 70 mins the game was pretty even,Marsden are a much improved side. Pretty strong in defence,2 hardworking centre midfield players,and 2 busy young guys up front. Thought Bay started to get on top last 20 mins and deserved the equaliser.Brighton made a difference when he came on,giving Marsden left back {who had played well most of the game.} a tough time. The winning goal ! Shocking decision by the Ref. Brighton was offside when the ball was put through.He then passed the ball to Adam Bell {who was in front of him} to put the ball into the empty net. If the last 20 mins were owt to go by,i think Bay would have won in extra time,but you never know.
