campion the better side with the marsden keeper pulling of some good saves in the 1st half, marsden had good possesion but rarely created the killer ball,2nd half campion the better side and probably just deserved to take the lead with the jimmy cranky lookalike right back scoring a og, then we had a man sent off and marsden finished the stronger and desrved the equalizer, 1-1,,, dont like harping on about refs cos me for one would never be one as i couldnt be arsed listening to grown men crying all the fooking time but for me if there consistent for the 90 mins and can keep up wi play they will do for me,,, havent met many recentley and today wasnt any different as nice as he was got quite a few major decisions wrong for both sides,, it was a case who ever shouted first got the decision eg i shouted for a corner on the touch line in the first half and to ashes amazment he gave it when it had clearley come of one of our lads,,, i would of been proud of the tackle ur centre half did on durks apart from following straight through when durks had clearley pulled out and didnt get booked, and then we have the smallest lad on the pitch barged into newiss and sent him flying= yellow card, all in all a good game, a very good and much improved team from last year but probably just a couple of good center forwards short with a bit of composure and can hold the ball up, two lads in the middle of the park played well as did ur lads that played at center halfs, p.s this pitch is not the shittest in the league, it is far from it,,however the changeing rooms are

I was at the game at marsden last saturday, It is wirth remembering that the referees do not get any help from club linesmen! they are poor to say the least, often it is a sub who is talking and not watching the game! so does not help the ref. if a keeper kicks the ball 80 yards from his own penalty area, how is the ref supposed to be up with play, not even linford christie could do that! so he has to make a decision on what he can see! maybe 20 to 30 yards back, and if he is not 100 per cent certain he will not give it! I also think that the centre half who made the tackle "then followed through" and cleaned the campion player out, so much so that he could not continue, was lucky not to be cautioned! then the little campion player who barged Newiss, he had already been cautioned and was quite rightly sent off! That now leaves the stupid marsden keep, the ref warned him once about not having the ball in or on the line, but know he pushed his luck and again was rightly cautioned. Marsden supporters take your blinkers off and look at the whole picture, if you want the 99 per cent results getting right, then get a member of non playing staff to take up a refs course, then a liner with qualifications, who understands the LAWS OF THE GAME! liners are a big big help to refs, but they have to be unbiased, unfortunately some club liners are just that! The ref is basically on his own, against 22 players, officials and spectators from both clubs, you cannot please all the people all of the time! Refs are not there to be popular, they are there to carry out and uphold the laws! Ask any ref in the WRCA league what he would like best? he would answer , LINERS!

Here here... You wouldnt get me reffing a game.
Dont really know why anyone would want to,But without them we wouldnt have a game.
I have watch a few games this season and seen a couple of very good refs and some that tried very hard but it just dosnt come easy to them,But i would say that everyone i have seen, have given what they have seen.Right or wrong.
