RESULTS 11THLITTLETOWN 2-6 STEETON
top game 3 goals in the first 15 mins wiped out town great goal just before halftime 3-1 second half town piled on the pressure but steeton hit them on the break good game really enjoyed it.

ardsley 6 v marsden 3marsden spent 45 minutes in their dressing room after the game recieving a bollocking for their performance.
however in fairness i thought our pace caused them all sorts of problems.
we scored early as has become our trademark and missed a glaring open goal. however we took control fot he first 20. marsden then found their feet and came back into the game strongly and scored a good goal. candidate for boyband member delivered a quality ball to the back stick and marsden forward tapped in.
marsden had a good shout for a penalty, i can imagine shanes view but our boys were adamant that there was no contact. fortunately referee agreed.
as often happens we went staight down the field and scored.
the killer blow was dealt on the stroke of half time as we headed home from a corner, did it cross the line? no one really complained.
3-1 at half time. We expected an onslaught but to be fair it was us who were out and in a fifteen minute spell of pacy wide play went 5-1 up.
Injuries took toll and we were forced to re arrange our back 4 and midfield. whilst we were fooking about mardsden had thown an extra player upfront in the form of the much barracked cuckoo, but fair play to shane he did the business - much to even his own teams disgust.
marsden quickly scored again whilst we were down to 10 men and at 5-3 was a comeback on.
fortunately we found our feet again, rearranged slightly and scored to make it 6-3.
enjoyed the game and thought game was played in good spirit,
we had our preferred forward line on show and with 2 big name returning players to the fold yesterday (although they didnt play) we look to be heading in the right direction.
unbeaten in 4 and with bay & ovenden up next.
ref made me laugh all way through game - mr ashby i think - a truly unwittingly funny man

Thought the football that we played in the first half hour was superb - our passing and movement was excellent and that on the back of not having a game for 3 weeks!
Word of praise for Mickyled who was the best referee that we have had this season - kept the game flowing and I think he got every decision spot on!

the bollocking was well and truely deserved, i dont get how we can be so hot and cold, one minute we look really good then the next we go to shit,
i honestly hope, thats give us a big boot up the sphincter cos the way we carry on sometimes you'd think we was man u or something.

In all fairness IW that was a pretty good match report!
I honestly didnt even know that you were down to 10 men I was that busy being angry!
Thought the Ref was a tool! I hate refs who you cant talk to, fuck it I hate ref's full stop! Thought it was a definate pen! How on earth he didnt give that I will never know! I agree with him for booking your lad who asked for our full back to be booked tho, but why a boot in the head is not a booking but a trip is is rather perplexing! Also thought he favoured you guys a bit more than us but I am honestly not trying to take anything away from you lot as you definately deserved to win!
Dont think that 3rd just before half time went in either but Matt was holding the net for some unknown reason which is why the ref gave it I think!
The game was played in tremendous spirit and if you guys play like that every week then you wont go far wrong.
I also think that if ash connor's (goalkeeper) free kick (strike) from all of 40 yards had gone in and not rattled the bar it would have changed the game dramatically!
We deserved the bollocking that we recieved and just hope the gaffer and players get it right this sat at Hemsworth! Physio, glad you wont be there pal! [smilie=smileybounce.gif]

yes mr king, forgot about the keeper, john arne risse lookalike, what a strike that was, thought he was going to float it in. but then unleashed hell. hes the best keeper in the league by the way.
like you guys we blow a bit hot and cold and i think much of the results of many teams like us  on a few refereeing decisions and a bit of luck.
everything went against us for the first few games and i mean everything, last few things have gone our way at key moments,
couldnt have complained about the penalty, next week you'll probably get one you dont deserve.

They are the worst side I have ever played against in this league. Even worse than Barclays last season or Morley Town every year. I'm also sure that Rick Flair was playing centre half for them.
Just to prove how poor they were.....I scored 2 past them!!!

our ressies scored double figures against them and we'd taken half of players.
one of our ressie lads commented that theyare truly the worst football team he has every played against, and that each player had at least one of the four worst forms of retardation.
apart from flair woooooooooo...

They really was THAT bad yes. Had 2 half decent lads up front and 1 half decent centre midfielder, when I say half decent....I mean they could control the ball. They still wouldnt have got in our reserve side.
I think they will end up resigning from the league if they continue to take pounding after pounding. I'd have thought with Shammies Reserves jumping ship then they would have acquired 1 or 2 players. In fairness to the guys, they kept plugging away and screamed, cheered and screamed again when they scored....despite being 5-0 down already. Apparently was there 1st goal of the season. I'm sure it was Keiron Dyer that was scored it......or fat look-a-like anyway.

Dont think TOP GK will like that. What do you think Frankie ? Is Mr Connor the best goallie in the league ? Got to say he looked good when i watched him against Ardsley a few weeks ago.

Technically Chaddy is a midfieldder but wasn't even on the pitch for 3 opf the goals on sat so no blame there, Yes I was in defence on sat but only for 5 goals as I had moved into midfield at that point but all 3 goals in 2nd half came from Midfielder's fuck up and were in no way the defence's fault!
Incidently I am pretty gutted that I scored on sat as I have an average of 1 goal a season over the last 3 years so looks like I wont be celebrating again for a good while yet!
