A good game for a reserve team fixture with some good players playing. Green came away disappointed that we couldnt take all 3 points, but on reflection a draw was probably a fair result. Admin scored a blinder too.

SHOCK! We lost! Ref was a complete cunt! by for the worst I have ever encountered! Had a mare for their 3rd when 3 players were all stood 5-6 yards offside! 1st 2 were long balls down field not cleared and finished well! We dominted 2nd half and were caught on the break after we got it back to 3-1, All in all decent lads, couple of big time charlies but generally ok, REF ruined game tho!
Top facilities outside and in, a pleasure to play there however thought bar was a tad small! (Cue Fat Jokes!)

yes!!! the ref made some bad decisions. i know he cant get them all right but to miss one offside let play carry on with three lads on attack no defence keeper closed down lad with ball so he passed it forward to another player who scored. offside all day long even stevie wonder could see that.

Very good game, you battered us first half, we came back into it second half and should have gone in front..... Thought we were gunna self distruct in the last 10 mins when our centre halves kept passing your forwards the ball.......

well the 4th was because we was pressing forward so they got us on the break, and the 2nd was a judgment error from our centre half and the 1st, well i cant remember the 1st.
no excuses from me and as were finding out you get punished if we dont take chances or even half chances.

The 1st was exactly like the 2nd Centre half misjudged it and striker left 1-on1 and scored!
Wasn't sayin we deserved to win but ref didnt help us with that 3rd 30seconds before half time!
Like Chaddy says, we need to start takin our chances as it seems other teams in this league are takin even their 1/2 chances against us!

Whooaah! The day Wibsey beat us at our spot was an injustice to football, we dominated the game but the keeper pulled off some ridiculous saves that Peter Cech would have been proud of! Not sayin we deseve to win every game but we have been unfortunate in a lot of the games we have played through our own inability to score! Not havin a go at anyone tho and not biting! Anyhow, werent you part of the first team management one year? And how come your in 2nd team, thought you were better than that. Plus the bald headed midfielder you had has to be the best player in this division, why isnt he in first team? A few players in the 2nd team this year are former first teamers. Theres 6 altogether who were part of our div 1 title winning side in 02/03, granted one of them is 40 and another is 35, but they still have alot of life left in them. Its only the second week we have had the side together, the first 3 games we barely had a decent footballer among us.

He's been out injured a while and only just come back, playing for us this season after spending most of his open age career at Ponty Collieries. Once he's fully fit and lost a bit of weight he'll be a regular first teamer, no doubt.

Just making my way back from a leg brake after 18 long months of watching/ coaching...... that was only my second 90 since. Enjoying reserve team football, especially when the standard is like saturday.
The bald lad was a first team player last season, hes been injured most of this season.... Plus not sure IW rates him.
You should put a good run together with that side.
If 2 hands in the back and no contact on the ball is not a foul then admin it was defo not a pen!!
Yeah the lad up top, number 10 looked a decent player. Took his goal very well. Was your effort a cross then??

phil is a good lad, he suffers because he hasnt been around enough due to injury and opportunities have been grasped by others.
its great to hear he's putting it in with ressies, some others get their head up their arse and think they are too big time and all credit to him it is appreciated.
the whole club is strong. Everything comes around and when you get your day, take it and we will not c e a winning side unless there is a very good reason.
ruud - the club seems to be working great with everyone sharing responsibility and common goals.
a good culture ce which over a period will strengthen the whole club and credit to you to buying into it as well.
need to get under 18's involved as well with ressies.
people wanting to sign for us and transfer from other clubs. unbeaten in six and with a system of play that suits us, pretty happy at moment.

No, I think it's good that you are trying to blood your own talent rather than purchase it (Albion), actually what is the deal witgh you and Tingley? I'm sure that lad brocky or brooky (central midfield) used to play for Tingley Athletic in juniors in my age group. The lad called Dale upfront I also recognise from somewhere but he is a good player, hard to play against!
Look at what Steeton have done with their youngsters, workin for them at minute and hope they continue to do well as Jose is a top guy!

Dale played for brighouse last year, he's had a slowish start having just had a kid, no sleep etc but really started to look the part recently. thought he was outstanding against liversedge last week.
Brogie hasnt played much recently and didnt play aginst marsden, at home - are you mistaken he's never played central mid.
on top of the existing squad we've got a couple of new signings and a few players back fit, we expect to unvail a new keeper this saturday and after the lower hopton game we will be adding a further pacy forward to the squad along with the long awaited return of Asa Hatfield back after a long term knee injury, competition will be fierce.

The only person to have made any comment relative to it is topgk who plays for Bay. Haven't been with first team for last few weeks so dont know how they're playing, but alot of the lads have said they have been underperforming and still getting results. But if you underperform to the best team in the league then you're going to look poor aren't you. Why dont you come watch them for a few games instead of just one and then re-evaluate your opinion...NOB!
