Marsden 2-1 Storthes Hall

Good game! Honours just about even in first half and with the exception of the Storthes goal, a top save from Ash Connor and a goal ruled out for an apparent foul on the keeper, Marsden dominated the second half and deserved the win.

decent result from our point of view, we started much the brighter team again and scored early doors, golcar best for last 15 of first half. not much in second half but golcar got on top and we fooked up at back again and it was 1-1.

Golcar looked the most likely to go on and win and then amazingly they changed their system to wingbacks which seemed a strange decision. We then dominated the last 20 mins and should really have won the game missing a couple of good chances with one disallowed.

it was nice to get a referee who seemed in touch with the game and the players, yes we moaned our cocks off from the sideline (we always do - especially at disallowed goals) and yes from our point of view he didnt get every decision 100% but spoke to the players and seemed to enjoy the game. Best yet this season by far.

Alan Berry had a good game for us this weekend, even though he booked me for notrhing and disallowed our goal! Gareth Nutter had a STERLING game in the middle against Ardsley Celtic couple of weeks prior too!
