Golcar 2 Vs Brighouse 4
Kikrburton 4 Vs Wibsey 4
Lower Hopton 1 Vs Irish 2
Marsden 3 Vs Ardsley 2
Meltham 2 Vs Hall Green 1
Overthorpe 2 Vs Storthes Hall 3
Bay beat Campion in a close fought match, while Brighouse get a surprise win at Golcar. Wibsey & Kirkburton have a high score draw to entertain the spectators. Irish pip Lower Hopton, while Marsden beat an out of form Ardsley. Hall Green miss out on a point after playing Meltham with ten men for most of the 2nd half. Storthes Hall finally get that first win at Overthorpe's expense.
DIV 1
Crag Road 2 Vs Wakey City 2
Dudley Hill 2 Ran Vs Salts 1
Eastmoor 1 Vs Albion Sports 4
Heckmondwike 2 Vs Yeadon 2
Hunsworth 0 Vs Steeton 2
Littletown P Vs Tyersal P
South Bradford 3 Vs Keighley Shams 2
Crag and Wakey City share the spoils while Dudley Hill Rangers go top and look a bit stronger this season with a win over Salts. Albion Sports do Admin proud by winning by his predicted scoreline. Yeadon get a good point at Hecky who arent firing in all cylinders. Steeton comfortably overcome Hunsworth, while Keighley find it tough back in division 1 with another defeat, this time at South Bradford.
DIV 2
Bronte 3 Vs Rawdon 2
Dynamoes 1 Vs Campion Res 6
Morley Town 0 Vs Golcar Res 5
Steeton Res 1 Vs Liversedge 7
Storthes Hall Res 2 Vs Kirkburton Res 1
Tyersal Res 3 Vs Dudley Hill Ath 1
Bronte struggle to overcome Rawdon as Campion Res embarrass a poor Dynamoes side. Morley are embarrassed too as they cant beat Golcar Res. Admin pin points a fantastic prediction as Liversedge beat Steeton 7-1 (beat that fellow predicters!!). Storthes Hall Res win a close fought game with Kirky Res. And Tyersal Res easily beat Dudley Hill Ath

PREM
Bay Athletic 4 Vs Campion 3
Golcar 4 Vs Brighouse 1
Kikrburton 2 Vs Wibsey 2
Lower Hopton 2 Vs Irish 3
Marsden 2 Vs Ardsley 2
Meltham 3 Vs Hall Green 3
Overthorpe 1 Vs Storthes Hall 1
I predict Bay to win 4-3 again as Campion push them close this time. Golcar finally get another win as Brighouse slump further down the league. Kirkburton & Wibsey share some points, while Irish pip Lower Hopton. Ardsley still cant get that first win as Marsden hold out for a point. Hall Green push Meltham all the way as they thoroughly deserve their point. While Storthes Hall are still failing to impress anyone as they cant beat Overthorpe.
DIV 1
Crag Road 2 Vs Wakey City 2
Dudley Hill Ran 1 Vs Salts 3
Eastmoor 1 Vs Albion Sports 4
Heckmondwike 4 Vs Yeadon 2
Hunsworth 1 Vs Steeton 5
Littletown 0 Vs Tyersal 4
South Bradford 1 Vs Keighley Shams 3
Wakey City look good as they take a good point off Crag, Salts beat Dudley Hill Rangers as Albion Sports smash Eastmoor. Yeadon fail in their revenge mission against Heckmondwike (remember the relegation feud 2 years ago). Steeton hammer Hunsworth as they score five again. Tyersal finally start to show what they can do with a win at Littletown. South Bradford still cant win as Shammies beat them this week.
DIV 2
Bronte 6 Vs Rawdon 0
Dynamoes 1 Vs Campion Res 3
Morley Town 1 Vs Golcar Res 4
Steeton Res 1 Vs Liversedge 7
Storthes Hall Res 4 Vs Kirkburton Res 0
Tyersal Res 4 Vs Dudley Hill Ath 0
Bronte comfortably beat Rawdon, as Dynamoes wonder why they bother turning up and getting beat to reserve teams every week. I never predict a Morley Town win as Golcar Res beat them this week. Steeton Res struggle as Liversegde score plenty thanks to the little pitch. Storthes Hall beat Kirkburton to a similar scoreline of Tyersal Res against Dudley Hill Pathetic.
RES
Ardsley Res 2 Vs Marsden Res 1
Hall Green Res 4 Vs Ovendon Res 1
Keighley Shams Res 3 Vs Lower Hopton Res 1
Salts Res 1 Vs Bronte Res 3
Yeadon Res 2 Vs Littletown Res 0
Wakey City Res 0 Vs Bay Res 3
Ardsley Res beat Marsden Res as there is sendings offs a plenty...3 in total!! Hall Green Res beat Ovendon as Admin scores 2 on his return!! Shammes beat Lower Hopton, Salts lose to Bronte. Yeadon Res look comfortable against what Littletown have to offer, while Bay look red hot favourites for the title with an easy win over Wakey City.

where were u today pete? missed a good game.
started the game well and created a couple of early chances. on about 10 mins were awarded a soft pen which reg cooly slotted to the keepers left only for the ref to order a retake which was then saved to the keepers right. broke the deadlock not long after good play down the left leaving pikey to power passed the oncoming keeper. campion then had a spell of about 10 mins first forcing a free kick near the corner of the box which chris graham smashed straight at me. then a poor dead ball from me picked out there right winger in space who ran at the back four before slipping in the advancing midfielder who slotted into the bottom corner. the ref then lost the plot for the last 5/10mins disallowed an absolute stone wall pen and then started giving out cards like his life depended on it.
2nd half. 5/10 mins in campion get a pen for a trip in the box, mick burke hits firmly to my left, of course i save it. campion then put us under a bit of pressure a header from burkey and a well hit strike from carlo both forcing saves before we retake the lead from a corner headed back across goal for big baz to bundle home from close range. more chances followed which brought good saves from chopsticks before a big kick over the top from me found kitty who turned inside and shot across goal that either took a flick off reggies or the defenders head and nestled in the bottom corner.

Admin didn't play,
They are the same team as last year abouts, very good, Hall Green deserved something from the game there keeper made some top point blank saves and got them the points, we also had a player sent off, with 30 mins to go but was still camped in there half, 2 defensive cock ups cost us,
ah well roll on next week

Paid a visit to the Rainbow Ranch yesterday. Never seen Marsden play before.Honest opinion,Ardsley didnt desreve to be losing at half time.Thought they had the best chances.Marsden had 2 chances and put them both away. 2nd half Ardsley didnt create much.Marsden were the better team. Was impressed with Marsdens work rate and team spirit. Encouraging each other all the time. And the ginger haired lad in goals is top drawer.

I can give you the ins and outs of Hall Green Res Vs Ovendon Res if you like....main talking point....Admin played his 2nd full game (and first competetive game) since April....and was fucked!!

our game was very entertaing. we should have won easy. but we could defend to save our lives me included, looked like we had not played together before. good set of lads though and game played in good spirit. the tall centre midfielder was very good and they are strong up front but they are poor at back. hence 4.4. 2 points dropped but never mind we are not looking out of our depth yet. but we have the big guns to play yet.

Agree with a lot of what Flubber says. I was playing cricket next to the field and as we batted first managed to watch the whole of the game. Meltham the same side as last year apart from a couple of new signings. One in particular Michael Robertson who plays centre mid and has scored in both Meltham's opening games was missing as was Sheddy so both their centre mids were missing which meant Newiss had to drop back in (he has been playing up front with Tom Matthews) which means old boy Chris Bramhall came back in up front. Meltham didn't play well and were a total contrast to how they played against Golcar. Melthams 1st goal came from a Newiss header about 10 mins in as the Green right back tried sheppering out a ball but the lost the battle (could have been a free kick for a push - seen them given - 50/50. The cross was then put in and as Flubber stuck to his goal line Newiss had a free header from 5 yards out. Hall Green's goal was a penalty which even from the other side of the field looked harsh - even Flubber was gob-smacked and left sratching his head. Green were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box as the ref (from the half way line) deemed that the keeper (Adam Lawlor) had handled the ball out of his box as he launched a big throw up the field. The ref must have been to spec savers to have seen that one. Greens 'albino' (flubbers own description) left back struck a hard free kick which Lawlor only just pushed back out and a Green player went down as he followed up the rebound as Newiss breathed down his neck. Apparantly the lad who went down said to the meltham centre half as Newiss was being booked "that's a bit harsh as it wasn't even a penalty". The albino left back then slotted a nice penalty. Melthams 2nd was scored by Tom Matthews - a long through ball saw Tom through on goal and a rushing Flubber forced him to go wide. However as Flubber got him self back in position Tom brought it back inside, sold the defender and slotted in the near post. 2-1 at half time. Tom Matthews came off injured at half time (got clattered in the 1st half on 'edge of the box' (personally thought it was inside but no one seemed to argue)) and his brother adam came off injured also not too long after. Green totally dominated the 2nd half and camped inside melthams half as Lawlor pulled off a 2/3 top draw saves. Flubber kept putting the meltham defence under pressure with big high kicks on to the melthams 18 yard box (must have changed his boots at half time coz he was wearing traingular ones in the 1st half and kept slicing it). Green totally deserved something out of the game and maybe might have got something if their No.7 had not have lost his head one time too many and got himself stupidly sent off letting his team down!!!
Although Meltham didn't play well, was impressed with Green and they should have AT LEAST got a point.

I will agree with that craig57684923, Ardsley were unlucky to be down at half time, 6 cleared off the line! however i still think we played better football and they were all about the counter attack, long ball and set pieces (big side). 2nd half we were all over them and they were lucky to get the equalizer but Deans instant reply was quality! Thought both number 10 and the kid with the "black eye" in the middle of the park were very lucky to still be on the pitch at full time, kid with the "black eye" deliberately handled 3 times, and number 10 slapped, punched and kicked his way through 90 minutes without any consequence whatsoever! All in all thouught the ref had a good game, Mr G Nutter, allowing play to go on where possible sometimes a little too leniant, but generally good for the game! Ash Connor, what can I say, bailed me out of the shit big time with that unbelievable save at the end when i mistook their striker for our full back and picked him out with pin point accuracy! All in all I thought we were good value for our 3 points. Tough trip to Wibsey this weekend but have a score to settle with them after the result at the ranch a couple of weeks ago, agree with Digger tho, Wibsey are a good set of lads. How did their keeper play digger? He was class against us!
Was out with Newiss on sat night and he said that they were very lucky to escape with the win and he agreed with Pig bout them being camped in Melthams half!

Chaddy,it was an experience in the Shakespeare cos i was the only person sober and it was only 4pm. And yes it was a good game to watch, especially 1st half. 2nd half wasnt as good, looked pretty comfortable for u guys. No.10 for Ardsley did get away with a lot,but he,s a good player.Ur lad in centre mid played well, covers a lot of ground.Think he was the one who played a good ball to ur right winger, who then crossed for centre fwd to score.

It is true I'm afraid, I did little or no exercise over the summer due to a heel injury I picked up towards the end of last season, and found myself way behind the younger lads in terms of fitness. We have a new manager too, so me huffing and puffing while the others jog around sweatless didnt make for good first impressions. I am working hard to get fit and lose some shane kelly weight so I can make my first team comeback, but I'm happy playing with the ressies till that happens.....it's a more relaxed, care free, enjoyable atmosphere with them.....plus I'm one of the young uns there
